Position overview:
As the Process Support Engineer you are a key member of Engineering team, reporting to the Process Support Manager. You will contribute to the success of Ball by fully supporting the needs and goals of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
• Eliminate losses in label changes.
• Improve Efficiency & Spoilage.
• Drive down and own assigned KPI’s.
• Quality control in area, preventive actions and monitoring systems.
• Participate in projects, obtaining skills to be able to run projects.
• Cross functional team member- support other areas and projects.
• Management Succession Plan.
• 5S champion.
• Support training needs within areas.
Experience and skills required:
• Higher national Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of the production process.
• Knowledge of Lean tools and high-speed processes.
• Technical and mechanical knowledge related to the manufacture of metal containers is recommended.
• Safety, Health and Hygiene and Environmental Standards that affect the Plant.
• Quality Procedures established by the Company for Manufacturing Plants.
• Office automation, medium advanced user level.
• Flexible working hours to comply with business needs
