Location: Nantwich site working with OIEUK Finance team
Hours: 25 hours per week (flexible on working pattern but mandatory Friday)

Are you an Accounts Payable Specialist looking for the challenge of taking a mission driven organisation to its next level of success?
Ornua is actively seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance department as we continue our growth trajectory. As our next AP Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Accountant in strengthening and developing a strong internal Accounts Payable environment in the Ornua Traded business in the Ingredients Division. (This will include Traded Butter and Traded Powders under the one company)

Why This Role Is Valuable:
The Accounts Payable specialist is responsible for;
Process product and non-product invoices
New Supplier Set up and amendments.
Supplier Statement Reconciliations for internal and external Suppliers – including Intercompany reconciliations pre month end and at month end.
Work with internal and external personnel to resolve query issues on Invoices and Purchase Orders.
Assist with the compliance of the company group Invoice matching policy.
Management of Manual and system generated payments and bank postings.
Weekly reconciliation of specified GL accounts and reporting on these at internal weekly team meeting.
Ad hoc jobs to assist with the improvement of the invoice processing through identification of pain points and possible solutions.
What You Bring To The Role:
AAT qualified, part qualified accountant or similar experience in a similar environment
Excellent spreadsheet and database knowledge
Excellent communication skills required, both internally and externally, using telephone or email to suit the circumstances.
Comfortable operating in a matrix organisation structure
