What You'll Do Here
Planning Stage:
• Prior to project start, build work packages from the design change documents for implementation of work scopes
• Support Incorporating resources and loading data into schedules as required
• Proactive in soliciting all necessary input from stakeholders in preparation of work packages
• Submit the work packages to the owner/consultant for approval as the project milestone
Project Execution and Monitoring Stage:
• Update project work packages on a timely manner. Identify and record delays and gaps in comparison to the project baseline
• Assist Project Managers in creating short-term work instructions in accordance with the project requirements
• Performs such other duties and responsibilities as assigned by his/her supervisor/manager
• Develop and write reports, business correspondence.
What You Bring To The Team
• Post secondary school education or similar experience in Construction Planning & Work Package Development
• Minimum 5 yrs experience working in a Nuclear Plant during an Outage, performing planning and work package development on critical path projects. Major Component replacement preferred
• Full proficiency with work package program
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Willing to work the hours it takes to complete key deliverables
• Positive and enthusiastic for assigned tasks
• Excellent written (technical and colloquial) and oral communication skills for the purpose of reporting
