Role Overview:
Responsible for digital retail commercial sales and account management, supporting Studiocanal senior management in achieving the annual digital sales targets for the UK & Ireland, and developing new revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fully own external client relationships with allocated Digital Transactional platforms, from avails delivery, marketing, servicing and lifecycle management.
• Identify and execute promotional strategy for EST/TVOD across new release and catalogue titles, including seasonal/drafting opportunities, and pricing strategies. In collaboration with the physical sales team, develop and maintain annual promotional planner
• Negotiate and secure marketing placements on digital platforms for all titles with support from the Home Entertainment Marketing team. Optimise premium digital releases, ensuring best possible set-up; manage title life cycle
• Ownership of administration for agreements with digital EST/TVOD platforms including availability confirmations, price strategies, legal clearances and materials requests.
• Contribute to title and market forecasting, business insights, and be key part of the P&L process.
• Create title release plans and liaise with marketing team to ensure marketing spend includes digital retail opportunities.
• Monitor and check digital store implementation prior to release and day of release, and around promotional activity, to insure proper execution of release plans and agreements
• Performing regular title and promotion performance analysis reports liaising with finance team to evaluate digital performance.
• Build strong relationships with key retail partners. Present release slate and develop strategic plans with partners to optimise Studiocanal title sales.
• Develop and present quarterly retailer plans to track performance versus targets
• In coordination with senior management, manage terms renegotiations with key digital TVOD and EST platforms.
• Coordination with Technical Servicing department to ensure all materials are delivered and made available on a timely basis, and in accordance with agreements.
• Work on system implementation development to allow full end to end avails and price promotion generation.
• Liaise closely with internal departments and International Digital Team to ensure digital objectives are met and identify opportunities for cross-departmental cooperation in supporting company objectives
Essential Skills:
• At least 3 years’ experience working within a digital account manager/sales role.
• Established relationships with Digital clients.
