We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our Brand and Marketing team on a permanent basis. As a Marketing Manager focussed on our existing business, you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering the marketing plan to support workplace pension client engagement and retention. 

 

This is a new, dynamic, and fast-paced role that requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and stakeholder management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and deliver a marketing strategy based on insight, that resonates with our target audience and drives measurable results.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and innovative performance-based marketer to lead on marketing activity in support of business engagement and retention ambitions.

About the role

 

  • Support development and manage delivery of the take-to-market strategy and plan to achieve Royal London’s employer engagement and scheme retention objectives in the UK workplace market in line with business plan and the wider marketing strategy.
  • Influence alignment of segmentation, contact/engagement strategy and key messaging, in collaboration with Distribution.
  • Lead on measurement and reporting of stretch objectives, demonstrating a clear line of sight between marketing activity and commercial results, using data and insights to continuously test, learn and optimise marketing activity.
  • Maintain deep audience knowledge to bring insights around employer engagement opportunities into Royal London and ensure the audience view is embedded in all marketing activity across the funnel.
  • Support the Head of Employer Marketing in providing marketing direction into the UK business, using data to demonstrate and articulate the effectiveness of Brand and Marketing contribution to the business plan.
  • Support the shaping and delivery of our value proposition using data and insights to deliver ongoing, personalised engagement.
  • Provide marketing support for new business opportunities and scheme on-boarding.
  • Manage a team of marketing professionals, acting as an advocate and champion of marketing within the UK business.

 

About you

 

  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in developing marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques in a B2B / B2B2C environment.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Proven experience as a marketing manager or similar role, preferably in the Financial Services industry.
  • Proficiency in campaign management tools and marketing automation platforms.
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
