We're recruiting 4 positions, flexible on your base location in England/Wales with hybrid working.
You’ll join the National Grid’s Control, Optel & Cyber Team who are responsible for the implementation of highly technical operational technology (OT) systems for National Grid Electricity Transmission. We make happen the solutions that will enable a radically different Energy system and electricity network to meet the challenges of the future.
Your key outputs are to lead on the delivery of specification, design, implementation and lifetime management of utility / critical assets and associated cyber security requirements associated with high voltage transmission Protection and Control schemes. Cultivate effective communication skills, including the ability to engage with multi-disciplined teams and audiences. Building and maintaining relationships internally and externally with key stakeholders.
A Numerate degree or demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering project environment. Can demonstrate advanced knowledge of international standards related to cyber security including IEC62443 and IEC62351. Significant experience of project work particularly in the area of process and operational technology cyber security associated with essential services.
Expert understanding of utility or process industry operations and procedures and a working knowledge of the test and commissioning process. Interoperability and control will be a familiar environment, along with the working knowledge of how to implement such arrangements. The ability to apply cyber hardening technics and a strong understanding of the Cyber Assurance Framework (CAF) and Network and Information Systems Regulations (NIS) requirements and the implementational impact on the OT environment.
• £60,000 to £71,000 pa + Excellent Benefits Package + Training and Development.
