McCormick & Company, Inc., a world leader in the spice, flavor and seasonings industry, is seeking a full time contract position for a Junior Power Platform Developer. This is position will be located in London, ON, Canada. This position will report to the Director, Cyber Security Threat Intelligence, and Incident Response

Position Overview/Primary Purpose:
This role works with the team that defines the strategic vision, roadmap, principals and standards for McCormick’s Threat Intelligence and incident response capabilities. As a Power Platform and M365 Developer, you will have the opportunity to assist our clients in the adoption of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, AI Builder, CoPilot Studio) at an enterprise level and to contribute to the growth of our Workplace AI Solutions Team. Bring your builder skills to help customers by evaluating customer requirements, developing applications, configuring Dataverse and integrating with various data sources.

- Design and development on the Microsoft Power Platform on multiple complex initiatives, and operations and stability of the application ecosystem.
- Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
- Developing solutions that follow best practices and methodologies to assure effective, maintainable solutions.
- Participate as an active member of discovery workshops, requirements gathering discussions, documentation, and development.
- Learning new technologies, and improvements to current technologies, to assist in analyzing their impact on current and future implementations.
This role reports to the Director of Cyber Security Threat Intelligence and Incident Response
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assessment and estimating work effort for new scope based on the business requirements achieving planned timelines.

Skills and Responsibilities:
- As a Power Platform Developer, you will be responsible for developing applications and assessing suitability for solutions using Microsoft Power Platform components, such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents, among others.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to understand client pain points and troubleshoot as challenges arise.
- Applying Power Apps including an in-depth understanding of customization, configuration, security, integration, and extensibility, as well as boundaries and constraints
- Work directly with clients to collecting and identifying functional requirements as well as support various projects and solutions.
- Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.
Required Qualifications:
- Hands on experience in Power Apps - Canvas App Development (Screen and Component Development) with SharePoint or Dataverse as backend data store.
- Hands on experience in Flows Development using Power Automate and using Connectors: SharePoint, HTTP Connector, Excel, Email Connector, Dataverse Connector etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication and multitasking skills
- Experience in building medium and complex Power Automate flows.
- Experience in using multiple data connectors with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Ability to work in cross functional teams.
- Should work with minimal supervision.
- Possess good problem-solving skills.
- Good To Have: experience in Migration of Lotus Notes Applications to Power Apps.
- Exposure to CoPilot Studio and its features and deployment.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Power Platform – Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Dataverse
- Experience using data connectors, limits and Dataverse security model (Role Levels, Record ownership).
- Experience with one or more of the following languages: PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, HTML/CSS, SQL.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Positive approach to customer service with demonstrated ability to handle high pressure support needs in a calm, respectful, and efficient manner.
- Ability to maintain confidential and personal information
