You will play an essential part in replacing approximately 26,000 water supply pipes, which will protect customers from potential harmful effects from drinking water; while notably reducing leakage from customer’s pipes.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Supply Pipe project as part of the Green Recovery programme at our state-of-the-art offices STC, Coventry office.
This Project Manager role will have accountability for leading and coordinating workstreams and implementation of the green recovery lead replacement project; driving continuous improvement activities that support Severn Trent’s strategic ambitions for our customers.
You will be actively engaging with the Project Sponsor and effectively manage other stakeholders across the business, communicating effectively on project deliverables. Alongside, reporting project progress, both to customer and management.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing similar projects. We’re also seeking utilities industry experience and a track record of delivering sustainable change and associated benefits. An project management or engineering/construction related qualification would be highly desirable.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience of delivering projects in the Water, Environmental, Utilities or similar sector to join our team. It is desirable if you have commercial awareness and familiarity with managing programs of work with an ability to manage multiple supply chain contractors/operational teams.
We are looking for someone with an understanding of risk management and is able to work with project teams to identify, schedule and establish mitigation strategies for project risks.
The role is an all-rounded Project Manager however there will be a big focus on managing varying contracts and negotiations that are involved through the process.
