What You'll Do
Initiates and facilitates project kick-off and inception activities
Coaches and mentors other Scrum Masters to encourage consistent, core best practices across the teams
Takes responsibility for managing dependencies between the Scrum teams and third parties, release managers, or between the Scrum teams
Exhibits desire to continuously learn new tools, techniques, and methodologies from teams and Agile community
Understands Continuous integration and deployment and Exhibits ability to run projects in the Scrum and Kanban methodologies, with multiple outside dependencies and remote project team members
Effectively communicates with cross-functional teams
May develop and deliver formal presentations and training programs to end users, project teams, management teams, and executive management
Interacts seamlessly with both business and project teams
Facilitates discussions that lead to the resolution of project issues and development impediments
Reports project progress to Program Management and executive-level stakeholders
Properly manages shared resources across multiple projects
Ensures all proper training and user documentation has been implemented
Has working knowledge and understanding of Agile Software Development Methodology and incremental delivery
Exhibits a desire to improve continuously, and shows a track record of improvement
Communicate openly and frequently with stakeholders and subject matter experts regarding the state of the project
What You Know
8+ years of work as a team member or project manager on a scrum project teams
3+ years acting as a ScrumMaster in a software development environment working with multiple teams
ScrumMaster certification (CSM)
Prior experience in a fast-paced agile environment will be critical to planning and overseeing day-to-day development activities and managing work against competing deliverables.
Successful experience for at least 2-3 years using the agile framework, preferably in the role of Iteration Manager.
1+ years of practical experience in software development is helpful.
Excellent communication in both written and oral.
High level of energy and enthusiasm.
SAFe certification with hands-on knowledge.
Flexible work and leadership style to maximize team performance.
High-level technical familiarity with distributed systems and web technologies.
Subject matter expertise in retail/eCommerce is a plus.
Strong communication and presentation skills will be integral to conducting iteration planning meetings, hosting demonstrations, and facilitating retrospectives with team members and stakeholders.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field

$110-120k per year
