About this role

This is a key role at Pangaia where you will support the Sourcing and Production team in developing products from concept to launch.  This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving and adhoc challenges, presenting a keen drive on data integrity across multi platforms. 

Reporting into the Senior Production Manager, you will run operational activities and ensure the critical path is maintained and communicated to internal and external stakeholders. It’s about getting the right products, at the right quantity and quality into the business at the right time. 

This role works closely with internal stakeholders in Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Responsible Innovation and Logistic teams, requiring strong cross functional collaboration. It involves working across multiple product categories including Jersey, Knitwear, Outerwear, Rainwear & Accessories on Adults, Kidswear and Baby.

Please not this is a hybrid role based at minimum 3 days (Mon to Weds) in our office in Chancery Lane, London.

A day in the life

  • Responsible for Purchase Order (PO) creation and management with the Production Assistant on our ERP system (Netsuite,  generating PO reports to share with Suppliers. 
  • Update and maintain critical path data, including ex-factory dates on PO reports and our ERP system and regularly exchange reports with Suppliers.
  • Hold regular Supplier meetings to build relationships, plan and troubleshoot queries to maintain the critical path, feeding back to the business as required. 
  • Create and maintain product master data in PLM (Centric), ensuring timely input and accuracy of data. 
  • Have working knowledge of fabrics, review lab dips, strike offs, approve bulk fabrics and review Technical Data Sheets (TDS).
  • Attend fit sessions, provide input on quantity/timelines to ensure decisions made do not impact on time delivery.
  • Amend bulk Bill of Materials (BOMS) on our PLM system.
  • Issue wash care instructions and update on our PLM system. 
  • Ensure supply chain traceability, to support our BCorp and Fairwear ‘Leader’ status. Regularly review Scope certificates and collect Product Transaction Certificates from Suppliers and store them on our ERP system.  
  • Liaise with Ecom to ensure samples arrive on time for launch/shoot dates. 
  • Meet weekly with our external QC  to ensure goods meet Pangaia standards before shipping. 
  • Collaborate with Logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any queries. 
  • Work closely with Finance to raise Non-Stock purchase orders and ensure urgent invoices are escalated and paid on time.
  • Guide and support the Production Assistant. 
  • Attend Lunch & Learns to build knowledge on latest innovations/projects being worked on within the business.

Requirements

  • You have experience, ideally a minimum of 2 years, within Sourcing and Production, with knowledge of critical path management and building supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge working on product lifecycle systems (PLM) and ERP systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and effectively prioritise work tasks.
  • Experience working with 1st and 2nd tier suppliers, globally.
  • Strong IT skills, especially with Excel/ Google Sheets for data and analytics.
