Implement, administer and assist in the development of compensation programs, which includes job analysis/evaluation and salary administration. Provide customer service for client areas and advise and consult with leadership of those areas.

Completes local, statewide and national third party surveys. Completes government-sponsored surveys. Analyzes survey results and makes recommendations for range and equity adjustments.--------------------------------------------------Provides maintenance of personnel administration tables in Lawson relative to pay programs--------------------------------------------------Performs job description audits and formats job descriptions using System-approved templates.--------------------------------------------------Assists with administration of the job description module in Halogen, including loading Major Work Activities and creating electronic job descriptions.--------------------------------------------------Assists with HR file maintenance as needed, including support for regulatory surveys.--------------------------------------------------Assists with the merit increase process, executive compensation review, and other large-scale processes such as market adjustments. Coordinates implementation of large-scale salary increases and special compensation payments with Payroll.--------------------------------------------------Completes analyses to ensure that compensation programs are implemented and administered consistently throughout the Health System and in accordance with regulatory requirements.--------------------------------------------------Assists Talent Acquisition and hiring managers with salary quotes for transfers/promotions.--------------------------------------------------
EDUCATION:Required: Bachelor's degree in related discipline Preferred: Human Resources degree (requirement waived for staff moved into role during HR Integration in April 2014 but will be applied to future hires).
EXPERIENCE:Minimum two years experience in Human Resources required. Prior experience in Compensation required. Prior Lawson experience strongly preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDPREFERREDPHR/SPHR certification preferred.
