We are looking for a talented Mission Designer to join our Design team. You will work closely with our writers and Narrative Designers to craft fun scenarios, events, and missions that provide unforgettable gameplay experiences. As a Mission Designer, you will collaborate with all departments to iterate and polish new content, while crafting missions that provide balanced gameplay, and providing both creative and technical implementation for different types of mission content. Responsibilities
Work closely with our writers and Narrative Designers to craft fun scenarios, events, and missions
Collaborate with all departments to iterate and polish new content
Craft missions that provide balanced gameplay with the player in mind, to ensure challenging, fun, engaging, immersive, and replayable gameplay experiences
Handle creative and technical implementation of missions with a focus on reusable modular gameplay mechanics for efficiency across different types of mission content
Be open to feedback and participate in open discussions regarding gameplay
Playtest with both the studio and the design team to review and develop missions
Requirements
3+ years of experience in game development with one or more shipped titles on multiple platforms
A strong portfolio that demonstrates experience in creating interesting and creative gameplay events and missions
Demonstrated experience working with modern FPS engines (UE5, etc.)
Creativity and strong sense of pacing
Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
Preferences
Experience with AAA First Person action titles
Familiarity with development tools such as Perforce, JIRA, and Confluence

The estimated base pay range for this role is: $70,000 —$100,000 USD
