EDI Developer I

Location: West Jordan, Utah

The EDI Integrations Developer is part of a team that is responsible for creating, testing, and installing EDI messages as well as supporting EDI systems at Walker Edison. The EDI Developer creates and maintains business translations that exchange electronic messages with internal and external systems. You will work closely with a team of EDI Developer and will often interact with sales and operations teams as well as internal leadership. This is a fast paced and exciting position. 

How you will contribute to our success:  

• Manage data flow integrations for onboarding of new trading partners and optimization of existing connections.
• Update and improve interactions with existing trading partners.
• Participate in off-hours support rotation

Qualifications:  

• 2+ years of hands-on Dell Boomi EDI developer experience (Equivalent experience with other integration platforms, e.g., webMethods, MuleSoft, considered as well).
• Experience working with AS2, HTTP, HTTPs, FTP, SFTP protocols.
• Understanding of Order Management/Distribution industry or Transportation/Logistics industry.
• Proficiency with EDI ANSI X12, EDIFACT.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience and understanding of ERP order management transactions, NetSuite preferred.
• API integrations experience is a plus.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Manage and prioritize assigned tasks
• Work independently and in groups.
