Lead UI Engineer Job Overview: We are seeking an accomplished UI Developer with a proven track record of leading UI development initiatives within B2B SaaS environments. Responsibilities:
- Advanced UI Framework Proficiency:
- Mastery of UI frameworks (ideally React, Material-UI).
- In-depth understanding of the chosen framework's architecture and best practices.
- Ability to build complex, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces.
- Familiarity with Webpack Module Federation
- Design Systems and Component Libraries:
- Experience in designing and implementing design systems and reusable component libraries.
- Ability to maintain consistency and scalability across various UI components.
- UI Tech Stack Evangelism:
- Advocate for the UI tech stack within the organization, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Drive adoption by collaborating with cross-functional teams and conducting training sessions on advanced UI technologies.
- Strategic Thinking:
- Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive UI strategy aligned with business goals.
- Understanding of how UI decisions impact the overall success of a software product.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and security principles to continually enhance the UI strategy.
- Leadership and Project Management:
- Proven leadership skills to guide and mentor team members.
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality UI solutions.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, backend developers, and designers
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior UI Developer with a focus on React, design systems, and Material-UI.
- Experience working on B2B SaaS platforms with an understanding of performance optimization, testing and debugging, version control, CI/CD and security best practices
- Proficiency in developing single-page applications and micro frontends.
- Demonstrated experience as a UI tech stack evangelist within an organization.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in UI development, with a focus on B2B SaaS platforms.
- Previous experience in a tech stack evangelist role or similar leadership positions is a plus.
