Trilogy Federal is looking for a remote Senior Data Analyst to support a large Federal agency’s data analytics needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in Python, SQL, and developing dashboards and reports in PowerBI. Additionally, the selected candidate must be a strong communicator with the experience and ability to interface successfully with our clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI
Develop/maintain scripts using Python and SQL
Conduct reviews/analysis on existing data dashboards and reports to find efficiencies and make recommendations
Develop PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings, observations, analysis, and recommendations
Attend and facilitate client meetings
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
8+ years of total work experience
4+ years of data analytics experience
Detailed understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and their features/functions
Experience using the following: Python, Power BI, and SQL
Experience with Database design and ETL (data extraction, transform and load)
Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Understanding of big data concepts
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
Experience with creating executive-level briefing materials and reports
Generally understands IT System Development Life Cycle and Agile concepts and practices
Possesses a solid understanding of IT architecture concepts
Ability to interface well with end-users and senior client stakeholders
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently
Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative virtual environment
Detail-oriented consulting approach, with client service focus
Self-starter able to work independently and within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years working in a federal consulting environment
Tableau
Possesses an advanced degree or credential (e.g., BIDA) in data analytics or business intelligence
VA or VHAexperience
Experience with or general understanding of VA data analytic platforms, repositories, or tools
