This role is pivotal in establishing a pricing discipline within Alcumus with the aim of enabling the optimum value extraction for the solutions we offer to our customers.
Joining us as a Pricing Manager, you'll be working across the global SafeContractor portfolio, primarily be based from our office in Cardiff but may have some international travel opportunities to visit Canada!
What that means day to day
- Collaboration between various departments to establish and develop the medium-term pricing strategy for SafeContractor UK & Canada.
- Developing pricing hypotheses using best practice pricing theory including testing pricing hypotheses through the collation and analysis of data and customer behaviour.
- Embedding the pricing strategy to maximise price achievement and providing input into internal and external communications as required.
- Drive adoption of the pricing strategy to include supporting Sales Leaders to optimise discounting behaviour.
- Responsible and accountable for tracking key price data points and regular reporting cadence to key stakeholders across the SafeContractor division and Alcumus Executive Leadership team.
- Build and maintain frameworks to identify and track value generated from the strategic pricing initiative.
What you’ll need to be successful
Firstly, you'll come from a pricing background and understand key pricing principles. We're a business that is high growth, and fast pace, and we're successful as a result of our people. Being able to foster collaborative relationships will be key in this role, as well as the ability to work autonomously.Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Highly data driven with excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Able to demonstrate where you have gained deep understanding of an industry to drive actionable insight into a pricing strategy in a high growth, B2B environment.
- Able to collate and analyse data, conclude findings and deliver to various stakeholder groups.
- Experience of developing or implementing a pricing strategy.
