Contracts Manager at Trident Systems

Job Descrption

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Directs and performs lifecycle contract administration from pre-solicitation through post-award phases. 

• Administers all types of contracts and/or subcontracts including IDIQs, CPFF, T&M, FFP and LOE. 

• Serves as primary point of contact with teaming partners and government officials for contract related matters. 

• Meets and communicates with Business Unit staff to understand and anticipate their contracting needs. 

• Reviews, prepares and analyzes contract terms and conditions and advises management on issues of concerns and recommended alternatives. 

• Ensures compliance with contract reporting requirements. 

• Works with Business Units to respond to requests for proposals and quotes. Reviews and submits unsolicited proposal / quotes. Tasks may consist of proposal preparation including RFP / RFQ analysis, pricing, compliance matrix, terms & conditions review, and technical proposal coordination. 

• Assists with Export Compliance: researches, coordinates, files and monitors required applications. 

• Assists with development, maintenance and negotiation of Company contractual agreements. 

• Assists with development, maintenance and implementation of department policies and procedures. 

• Ensures compliance with applicable government regulations and internal policies. 

• Maintains Government Property Management. 

• Performs special projects as needed.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• Ability to multitask and work effectively, independently and with others ensuring timely completion of diverse assignments and meeting established quality standards

• Shows a history of ownership, initiative, and the ability to stay organized in a multitasking environment

• Strong organization skills, to include attention to detail and accuracy. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Superior interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with executive-level internal and external parties during periods of high stress and tight deadlines.

• Ability to exercise discretion in the handling of confidential information

• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Access.

• Knowledge with Export, ITAR, FAR, DFAR

• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Accounting Software, preferred

• US Citizenship Required.
