As a Staff Vehicle Technician in the NVH Team, you will help develop and commercialize state-of-the-art electric vehicle. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and be excellent at multi-tasking.
Responsibilities:
Work independently or alongside other technicians and engineers to complete vehicle retrofits and adaptations for NVH performance evaluation
Install countermeasures in test vehicles to measure NVH improvement
Contribute to fabrication of prototype parts and/or vehicles for engineering development
Perform audit of production vehicles and production assembly process for NVH as necessary
Vehicle instrumentation when needed with accelerometers and microphones and record test data during vehicle NVH testing
Complete data reduction and some analysis for NVH Engineers to highlight abnormalities.
Maintain NVH fleet vehicles in excellent condition
Maintain NVH lab equipment
Qualifications:
Degree in Automotive Technology or ASE Certification
5+ years of luxury automotive technician experience
Flexible work availability
Ability to travel
Proof of excellence in your past position, while demonstrating profound creativity in resolving mechanical problems
Excellent knowledge of vehicle and vehicle subsystem operational knowledge of electric vehicle architecture a strong plus
