Requirements

About the Role

This role is to design and deliver innovative financial technology products TerraPay is planning to launch, by collaborating with the Business, Design, and Technology teams.

Key Responsibility 

  • Product Strategy: You will be the visionary behind our financial technology solutions, crafting and executing a robust product strategy that aligns with market trends and opportunities. Your strategic insights will drive our product roadmap.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will gather and translate their specific requirements into actionable product specifications. Your ability to capture the nuances of cross-border payments needs will be pivotal.
  • Solution Designing and Delivery: With a keen eye for innovation, you will lead the conceptualization, design and delivery of comprehensive solutions that address the challenges of cross-border payments. You will be collaborating with Business, Design and technology teams for end-to-end delivery of the solutions.
  • Market Research: With the support of sales and marketing teams, you'll stay ahead of the curve by continuously monitoring the competitive landscape and market dynamics. This intelligence will guide adjustments to our product strategy, ensuring we remain at the forefront.
  • Client Engagement: Building and nurturing strong relationships with our international clients will be central to your role. By actively seeking client feedback and insights, you'll drive enhancements that meet their evolving needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Staying abreast of international banking regulations will be critical. Collaborating with the compliances team you'll be responsible for ensuring that our products are fully compliant with relevant regulatory standards.

Core Banking Expertise Required 

Product Management, Business Analysis, or Solution Designing experience in core banking products, mainly cards and payments. But the following knowledge will be an advantage.

Account Management: Enables banks to create and manage customer accounts, including savings accounts, checking accounts, loans, and other financial products.

Transaction Processing: Facilitates the processing of various financial transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and payments.

Reporting and Analytics: Generates reports and provides analytics tools to help banks make informed decisions, monitor financial performance, and comply with regulatory reporting requirements.

Integration: Integrates with various other systems, such as payment gateways, credit scoring systems, and regulatory reporting platforms.

Multi-Channel Banking: Supports multiple customer touch points, including online banking, mobile apps, ATMs, and physical branches, ensuring a seamless and consistent experience across channels.

Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Adheres to various financial regulations and compliance standards. Core banking technology helps in automating and ensuring compliance with these requirements.

Experience

  • Strong experience in Payments/Banking Domain
  • Experience in handling Product Management, Business Analysis, Solutioning
  • Knowledge in Java, Databases, Agile methodologies will be an added advantage, though not mandatory.
  • Experience in regulatory matters in the fintech space is a plus.
