The Opportunity:

We are on the lookout for an Email Marketing Executive to bolster our team's efforts in utilizing email as a powerful tool to connect more intimately with our listeners and propel our podcast brands. In this role, you will support the Email Marketing Manager in executing compelling email marketing campaigns from start to finish, using insights and analytics to expand our subscriber base and elevate brand engagement. Positioned at the heart of our marketing initiatives, you will help to craft and deploy strategies that captivate our audience, fostering loyalty and contributing to the broader marketing objectives. Ideal for a dynamic and analytical individual with a creative edge, this role offers the chance to delve into email marketing, from conceptualization to the analytics behind successful campaigns, under the guidance of seasoned professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Execution and Support: Assist in the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional content, and targeted outreach, ensuring alignment with Flight Studio's branding and marketing objectives.
  • Subscriber Engagement and Growth: Collaborate with the marketing team to implement tactics aimed at growing and retaining our email subscriber base, employing segmentation and personalization strategies to maintain high engagement levels.
  • Performance Analysis: Support the analysis of campaign performance and subscriber behaviour to refine and enhance future email marketing efforts, contributing to data-driven decisions.
  • Learning and Development: Continuously seek opportunities to expand your knowledge of email marketing tools, trends, and best practices to contribute to the team’s success.

Requirements

Must Haves

  • Understanding of Email Marketing Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of email marketing concepts, with a willingness to learn and support the execution of email campaigns.
  • Creativity and Engagement: Capability to assist in crafting engaging and relevant email content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Analytical Skills: An eagerness to understand and apply data analytics in guiding email marketing strategies and improving campaign performance.
  • Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, supporting changes in strategies based on industry trends and insights.
  • Communication Skills: Strong copywriting and editing skills to effectively communicate ideas and engage the audience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Email Marketing: Some experience in email marketing, even at an internship or entry-level, demonstrating a basic understanding of campaign management and execution.
  • Familiarity with Email Tools: Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo) and automation tools, plus a keen interest in learning more about digital marketing technologies.
  • A/B Testing and Personalization Interest: An interest in learning and applying segmentation, A/B testing, and personalization techniques in email campaigns.

  • London - Shoreditch ~ we are an in-person-first culture and believe in fostering a vibrant and work environment centred around connection and community.
  • Some roles will require global travel so flexibility in this aspect is important and your hiring manager will confirm this with you during the interview process
