We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Auto Electrician to join our team. As specialist in the Automotive industry, we pride ourselves on the service we deliver to our customers across the UK. We are the largest service provider and Launch specialist in the UK and we have contracts that are ongoing, long term, based in multiple locations across the UK.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Building of harnesses for the armoured vehicles.
Fault finding and rectification.
Design and develop electrical solutions for vehicles.
Reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams.
Modifying electrical circuits, loom buildings, and installations
Removing, fitting, and upgrading interior and exterior parts.
Conducting diagnostics on vehicles.
Working with new technologies such as P/HEV and M/HEV.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma and auto electrical qualification certificate or equivalent.
Proven work experience as an auto electrician.
Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
Great hand-eye coordination and ability to use tools and diagnostic equipment.
Candidates are required to have their own basic tool set.
Benefits
The right candidate will receive an hourly rate of £19 per hour which will rise to £22 once experienced.
6am to 5pm Mon-Thurs 6am-1pm Friday
Overtime possibly available on Saturdays 6am – 12.00
Long term contracts
Outside the iR35
This work is contract work - Limited Company or Umbrella.
