1x Fixed Term until March 2025, Full Time, 37 hours per week | Harmful Sexual Behaviour Service (HSB) - Countywide
Lancashire Child and Youth Justice Service (CYJS) works with children aged 8-18. These posts are part of an exciting role within a developing Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB) service where post holders will be able to develop the HSB offer of support across CYJS and FAAS services.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of establishing a HSB learning and development hub which will be responsible for offering additional learning and development opportunities across early help and children's social care, in relation to an understanding of HSB. The successful candidate will be provided with specialist training, including AIM and other bespoke training as well as personal development opportunities.
This post will include working directly with the children, their families and partner agencies, including support in undertaking consultations, assessments and direct interventions with children and their families. CYJS principles of child first, trauma informed, and restorative approaches provides guidance for all areas of our work.
The successful applicants will ensure that in cases where there are concerns surrounding HSB, the children, their families/carers, and the professionals around them are supported to achieve positive outcomes. The Child and Youth Justice Service takes a strengths-based approach when supporting children. A commitment to positive partnership working, including working with parents and carers is essential.
With all the positions, there is an expectation that staff will travel to meet service need. There are office base locations across the County.
