Rosebud Fund Manager (Senior Project Officer), Grade 10
Over nearly 40 years, Rosebud has been a fundamental foundation of Lancashire County Council's Economic Development portfolio. It exists principally to provide debt and equity investment to aspirational high growth companies across Lancashire; and, to support, educate and facilitate connectivity for these businesses to achieve their full potential.
This post is a brand new and dynamic role resulting from the fund undergoing a detailed strategic review, leading to a complete refresh and evolution of Rosebud’s value proposition. Therefore, we are looking for an exceptional candidate who relishes the autonomy and freedom this position will bring. You will be a key part of a small team leading the next exciting chapter in the evolution of Rosebud.
Each day in this role is a unique adventure, from engaging with ambitious entrepreneurs with innovative growth plans to collaborating with professional partners. The role involves various elements, from reviewing financial statements and reports to presenting at events, boards, and committees. It includes long-term relationship management, capturing impact measures resulting from investment and wider support, and working with various investors and funders. The role also entails engaging with the extensive range of business support solutions available through the Council and our esteemed partners.
The role will be both ‘front’ and ‘back of house’. You will be both an ambassador for the fund and the day-to-day contact point for those businesses who have successfully secured funding, as well as instrumental in the decision-making process under which applicants can be funded.
