A Portfolio and Programme Management Office (PPMO) Manager to work within our newly formed Change Service at Lancashire County Council with hybrid working too!)
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PPMO Manager to join our brand-new Portfolio and Programme Team, within our newly established Change Service. They will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the organisations Strategic Portfolio Office. We're looking for a dynamic individual to support us deliver the Councils priority portfolio of programmes and projects. This is a huge opportunity to shape success and set the stage for impactful change. Within Lancashire County Council, you'll be the instrumental in that success.
What we are looking for…
Communication and Leadership
As a pivotal player in our new service, you will take the reins in managing and monitoring transformative change within Lancashire County Council. Your wealth of experience will be instrumental in steering our PPMO towards success. You will play a key role as a manager and ambassador for our new service to ensure we meet our ambitious objectives within the Change Service team moving forwards. You will be a strategic communicator, someone who can communicate to all levels and drive the organisation to ambitious new heights.
Influential
As a pivotal member of our organisation, you will play a crucial management role in driving initiatives, and building strong collaborative relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to influence stakeholders at various levels. You will work with senior individuals across the organisation and be someone who can build longstanding relationships with people at all levels. Whether it's inspiring change, negotiating, or mobilising the team, we are looking for someone with a track record of successfully leveraging their influencing prowess to achieve positive outcomes.
Knowledge and Experience
We're looking for someone with experience of supporting our PPMO Lead to manage our newly forming corporate Portfolio Office and Centre of Excellence to drive support and enable change within a large organisation. You will be joining our newly formed Change Service and supporting Lancashire County Councils ambitious plans. You will have experience in managing Portfolio Management Office (P30) level environments, navigating the challenges and complexities that come with that. You will have practical experience of managing projects (if required).
