What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include
Be interface of the team into the channels: Manage new store openings on behalf of the team. Manage trade events into the channels on behalf of the team
Responsible for co-ordinating communication of current and projected stock levels and DWA with channel teams
Accountable for leading the feedback process with stores & E-com to set shared expectations and use the feedback to drive improvement in stock placement by working with peers in the forecasting and inventory teams. This also includes working closely with the logistics ops help desk to streamline calls from stores focusing time on calls/queries relating to sales and stock flows.
Retail specific: Responsible for coordinating the control of backstage stock with stores, retail operations and the space team. Monitor performance of stores vs similar stores/grades/formats to see opportunities to improve trade
Drive performance across the team: Take channel and business unit lens to challenge both forecast and inventory teams to drive better DWA, better inventory turns and better flow from the stock available to send
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
Ability to lead a team (line management, coaching, workload planning, career development, feedback)
Resilience in order to challenge across the retail/ecom/space and other areas
Very good at storytelling and presenting information to drive action
Experience using different tools/techniques to collate and intemperate feedback from stores/colleagues
A solid understanding of sales forecasting and supply chain processes
NB As part of the application process you will be asked to complete a numerical reasoning assessment but this does not influence if you are selected for interview.
