Juniper is seeking a passionate and highly motivated individual to work with Sales and Partners to drive overall Juniper Apstra product and solution adoption across all customer segments. This individual will be part of Juniper's Apstra Product Management organization.

* Creative & Visual Thinker: Make boring and technical concepts compelling and easily understandable using schematics, diagrams, etc. Must be a strong team player, not afraid to present new, creative ideas.

* Versatility: Have a blend of business and technical skills. Quickly adapts to changing requirements while communicating impacts and negotiating the next steps. Helps to implement change and thrives on cross-functional collaboration with various teams.

* Drive: "Roll up sleeves and do what it takes" attitude. Continuously re-thinking, challenging, and innovating. Self-motivated and comfortable working in a distributed workforce.

* Personable & Outgoing: Comfortable interacting directly with customers with the ability to maintain a pleasant demeanor during early-stage product evaluation, testing, and trials.

The candidate must be execution-oriented, have a builder mentality, and possess the personal drive to build a growth business within a newly created growth organization.


What you will be doing:

This is a technical role in the Juniper Networks CPO Solutions Apstra Team. You will be a critical partner to cross-functional business teams, sales teams, customers, and R&D engineering teams. You will work to develop best practices, presentations, tools, demonstrations, engage in complex customer design/implementations, drive the evolution of the Apstra product portfolio, and target customer adoption.

· Define Data Center automation solutions for simplifying Day0/Day1/Day2 network operations

· Work closely with the various sales teams to manage requirements and drive commitments within engineering organizations

· Contribute to creating and delivering global launches and sales activation.

· Create collateral and deliver content concisely and without jargon in many forms, including live presentations, technical reports, presentation slides, podcasts, and other media formats.

· Build, deliver, and maintain technical customer and SE level presentations.

· Perform market and competitive assessment


Basic Qualifications:

· Typically requires 10-15 years of related experience in technical pre-sales, post-sales, or product management roles (Systems Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Network Engineer, Product Manager, Technical Marketing, etc.).

· Must have extensive knowledge and experience with data center solution design, implementation, and operations.

· Strong influencing skills and the ability to present at industry events, not "limited" to Juniper technology; ability to compare our solutions with other industry options

· Proficiency in two or more network vendor solutions: Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Cumulus, SONiC, or another disaggregated network OS

· Strong understanding and experience with the following technologies: BGP, VXLAN, and EVPN

· Familiar with the following concepts: open networking, containers, and related technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes


Bonus Skills:

· Scripting with Ansible, Salt, Python

· VMware product suite (vRNI, NSX, NSX-T, vSphere, etc)

· Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, CI/CD Pipelines

· Experience in cloud security (GCP, AWS), network security, or application security

· Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: ACI, DCNM, CloudVision, or equivalent product
