Office Manager at Arconic

Job Descrption
Arconic is currently in search of an Office Manager to join our Extrusions Business Unit in Chandler, AZ.

In return, we offer the opportunity to Grow Together with ongoing opportunities for professional growth provided by a constantly changing environment, working alongside employees who value the people they work with just as much as the work they do.   Reporting directly to the Chandler Plant Superintendent with dotted line reporting to functional leaders at the Lafayette, IN plant, this role will have responsibilities for Chandler across various functions.

HR 

  • Hiring and on-boarding of new employees
  • Off-boarding terminations
  • Run weekly payroll
  • Answer ad hoc employee questions
  • Working with Supervisors to administer discipline
  • Answer grievances
  • Open Enrollment/benefits support

Operations

  • Maintenance Planning
  • Creating requisition requests
  • Creating shipping packets
  • Document management, ensuring forms, prints, etc. are up to data and stored appropriately

Finance

  • Assist in developing monthly forecast and annual operating plan
  • Report weekly finance flash P&L and operational dashboard
  • Assist in approval for RFA CapEx projects
  • Track weekly shipments for key customers

EHS

  • Maintain EHS database
  • Assist in conducting investigations into EHS incidents
  • Manage and coordinate onsite waste programs
  • On-the-floor focus and completion of waste inspections, waste drum labeling, and others as assigned
  • Maintain appropriate waste management certification to execute duties for onsite waste management
  • Certifications will include RCRA and DOT
  • Liaise with third-party EHS contractors and Corporate EHS staff

IT

  • Employee Entrance/Exit tickets
  • New Software requests
  • EBS Req writers for IT accessories including printers and other peripherals

Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications 
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Experience in an Office Manager-type role or experience in any of the functions this role entails
  Preferred Qualifications 
  • Manufacturing experience
