Responsible for the day to day and long term procurement. Assist with planning of support active hospital projects, as well as, hospital operatives. Performs clerical and technical functions.
Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Develops organized procedures and policies for handling all client service related issues. Prepares replies or refers questions for reply to various inquires in a prompt manner. Provides clients with supplies and tools necessary to comply with contract requirements. Provides product or service information to customers and ensures that they receive the best possible service. Receives requests by telephone for new orders or changes in service. Recommends corrective services to resolve customer complaints. Resolves routine product or service problems to ensure customer satisfaction. Assists other personnel as required in clerical or technical functions. Attends meetings as required. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
