Job Descrption
As the Internal Audit Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Portfolio Head in providing internal audit services relating to Treasury and Wealth Management activities. It is essential to have experience in Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Treasury, Finance Functions and Banking Operations as you will undertake business process audits, project assignments and ad hoc review work under supervision.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:
- Completion of Audit Plan
- Maximize time utilization
- Timely completion of audits
- Develop and deliver an audit service focused on control environment improvements that protect and enhance the group's financial position.
- Ensure audit findings are timely addressed
- Conduct audits which are perceived to add value to the business
- Ensure Internal Audit is contemporary and innovative to drive efficiency / quality of service
- Maintain professional working relationship with business stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Treasury and Wealth Management Audit related experience with a Banking/financial services industry
- Thorough understanding of Treasury Business Governance and operational controls framework, including good understanding of treasury related Products and services
- Thorough understanding of Wealth Management business and products (viz., Discretionary Portfolio Management, Non Discretionary Portfolio Management, Brokerage, Asset Management, Trade execution)
