As a Works Supervisor, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of customer service, operational performance, and safety across various work streams.
What’s the role?
Lead and manage a multi-disciplined team, overseeing performance, training, and professional development. Program workloads, ensuring target dates, work in progress levels, and first-time fix targets are achieved. Conduct 121’s, appraisals, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards

What we’re looking for
You must have excellent communication skills along with the ability problem solve, multi task and work to tight deadlines. Previous responsive repairs experience in crucial to the role. Ensuring quality and consistency within the Council's repair team.
Location
The job is primarily based in the Borough of Lewisham, but we operate a hybrid approach where you may be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.
Special conditions
HNC or equivalent qualification or experience
Demonstrable experience of working in the building and trades industry.
The job is subject to an enhanced DBS check
Participate in the Duty Managers Emergency Call out Service on a rota basis ensuring issues are responded to promptly and an efficient service is delivered to customers.
People management experience
Previous experience in a local authority/social housing
IT Literate (Microsoft packages) and experience of PDA technology
Full Drivers Licence/Customer Service experience

Salary
£49, 071 - £51, 099 per annum (P04)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
