Leaders of Tomorrow, Dubai Holding Graduate Programme has a vacancy for a Senior Executive – Engineer reporting to the Functional Lead at our business company Dubai Holding Entertainment. The role holder will be accountable for accomplishing the designated tasks and leveraging the chance to acquire and enhance their skills within the assigned business area. This will be achieved through on-the-job training, peer coaching, mentoring, and/or shadowing experienced team members, following the agreed-upon graduate training plan.

Key Accountabilities: 

• Ensure the safety of rides and facilities and efficiency of rides through effective Preventive Maintenance.
• Upkeep of the availability, efficiency and the safety aspects of all rides and attractions by supporting the planning and organizing the repair and maintenance programs.
• Maintain the log and records as required as per the system. 
• Support the tasks involved for planned preventative maintenance, unplanned maintenance, start-up procedures and safety checks.
• Ensure that attractions are handed over to the operation in line with park opening times.
• Support the issues of breakdowns in a timely manner and to ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with departmental procedures (Safe System of Work - SSOW).
• Assist the department’s managerial team and charge hands as and when required in order to fulfil the department’s KPIs, objectives and function.
• Undertake additional responsibility as directed by the department management team following appropriate instruction/training.
• Maintain and keep in good condition the tool’s provided to enable professional and competent completion of maintenance tasks.

Who we are looking for candidates with the following:

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above (or equivalent).
• Maximum 1-year has surpassed since graduation year date.
• Completion or exemption of UAE National Service (if applicable).
• Previous internship/training experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and proficiently in English. 
• Involvement in extra-curricular activities or community initiatives during university.

Education / Professional Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
