About the Job: 

An opportunity has arisen for a Restaurant Reservations Manager to join the team of Madinat Jumeirah Resort.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Controls Central Restaurant Reservations for Jumeirah International Maintains and updates the Restaurant Reservations System on a regular basis.
• Works closely with the F&B Management Team and all Outlet Managers to achieve the best possible communication, regarding bookings to achieve target.
• Coordinates and monitors the reservations for special events such as Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Ramadan, Valentine’s Day etc.
• Controls reservations timings to ensure smooth operation in fine dining restaurants.
• Makes sure that JI Policies and Procedures are respected in the workplace at all times.
• Ensure manning and competence level of selected colleagues is sufficient for the department to meet the needs of the organization and customer.
• Actively handles, reviews & analyze guest comments/ complaints and JD Power 
• Handle interview and hiring processes.     
• Provide the GM’s, EAM’s - F&B or FB Director with statistical information about the F&B outlets and issues restaurant reservations reports at the end of each month or upon request.
• Plan and execute to achieve individual and department’s KPI’s (TTC, Productivity, Abandoned Call Report)   
• Maintain appraisal and disciplinary records.

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality.
• F&B background/experience required, with a minimum of 2 years in call center experience and 2 years managing a team preferably.
• Experience in complaint management and training and development of staff members preferred.
• Fluent in business correspondence, including emails, reports… 
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Opera, Epicure…
• Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is appreciated.
