An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies on the Easter Bush Campus for a Health & Safety Advisor.
The Opportunity:
Working as part of the Easter Bush Campus Health and Safety team you will develop and implement health and safety policies and guidance for all departments on campus.
The School has a wide remit of activity which includes clinical (veterinary animal health), research (animal biosciences, genetics, food security, technical innovation), teaching, support services and farms.
You will be required to provide advice, develop and deliver training, complete inspections, investigate accidents/near misses and promote a positive health and safety culture. This role will ideally suit a health and safety professional who is interested in working in a highly diverse environment, with the potential to undertake further training in a specialist field i.e. biological safety or radiation protection.
