The Widening Participation Team is looking for two Student Ambassadors to support the delivery of the ACES project (Access to Creative Education in Scotland). Our Student Ambassadors help with the full range of events we offer and give insight into student life.
We welcome applicants from all sections of the community, regardless of age, gender, race and ethnicity, disability, nationality, religion, sexual orientation or transgender status. We strongly encourage applications from students who are evidentially underrepresented within our student body including those from Black and ethnic minority backgrounds, individuals who are care experienced and those who have lived experience of a UK state school, and those from backgrounds that the ACES project supports.
To ensure that our Student Ambassadors appropriately represent the University, we will be recruiting students to reflect the diversity of the student body and subject areas.
The Opportunity:
Join our small team of creative practitioners and support us in achieving big results for under-represented and disadvantaged young people interested in studying art, design, or architecture at university. The events delivered by ACES range from a six-month Portfolio Preparation Programme to one-off events and online talks. Our events are delivered blended (a mix of online and in-person activity) and the successful students will be supporting both.
