General Description and Classification Standards
Performs technical and paraprofessional personnel functions for the human resources group within an assigned department. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: processing personnel transactions and employment requests; generating and typing forms and reports, and maintaining files.
Supervision Received
Works under general supervision. May work independently or with other workers with responsibility for completion of assigned tasks. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Create and distribute various ad hoc and recurring training related employee and managerial reports as needed. Coordinate logistical details for training sessions by preparing materials, sending invitations, scheduling rooms, ordering catering, etc. Master all activities in the Training Registration Calendar/Learning Management System (LMS), including setting up courses, maintaining learning plans for select client groups, extracting data from the LMS, importing it into Excel, and presenting the results in easy to understand, visual format. Partner with vendors and handle general purchasing duties that include the processing of invoices, payment requests, and purchase orders. Maintain office equipment and other service contracts. Serve as general office administrator for visitors, guests, and clients. Attend team meetings and capture/maintain meeting minutes and shared drives. Interact with Leadership, Managers, Participants, and Facilitators to ensure programs are implemented seamlessly. Create and/or maintain Budget spreadsheets in Excel.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience in Microsoft Office Software (Excel sorting data, creating tables and creating graphs, Outlook scheduling, Word document creation/editing and PowerPoint presentation creation/editing) Knowledge of human resource management and personnel practices, policies and procedures as necessary in the completion of daily responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience
Associate's degree in human resources, business or public administration or a related field. 5 years' of paraprofessional human resources experience is required; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job.
Preferred Education & Experience Associate's degree in human resources, business or public administration or a related field and 5-8 years' of paraprofessional human resources experience. Licensures and Certifications None required.
