Rental Coordinator

General Description and Classification Standards
This Rental Coordinator will perform a variety of duties for his/her assigned location(s). He/she must create and foster professional relationships, provide excellent customer service and be efficient in all services provided and associated with the facility rental. This is a 12-month position that requires re-application at the end of the 12-month assignment.
Supervision Received
Works under direct supervision and follows standardized procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Primary job duties take precedents. Rental Coordinator must be able to fulfill his/her primary job tasks to be eligible and referred. These are typical responsibilities for this position and should not be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. May perform other duties as assigned.
•Manage all aspects of the facility rental.
•Must be in DPR uniform at all times
•Arrive to rental site in a timely manner to provide access to the customer.
•Conduct pre and post inspections of facility rental.
•Assess facility rental and assist with decision regarding rental deposit reimbursement.
•Monitor rental and be visual of constituents in facility.
•Ensure that rental events are executed as stated in the rental agreement.
•Complete required incident reports and submit in a timely manner.
•Follows up on delivery of rental furniture and/or equipment and the pick-up of furniture and/or equipment after the planned event.
•Responsible for all assigned City assets (i.e. keys, employee badge, phone, etc.).
•Attend all required staff meetings and trainings.
•Inform Supervisor on any issues that may arise.
•May process rental requests and ensures that there is proper authority for request.
•Responsible for the safety and security of facility including locking doors, securing windows, turning the HVAC off (if applicable), ensuring faucets are tightly closed and alarms are properly set.
•Respond to emergencies

•Knowledge of City of Atlanta rental rules and regulations
•Excellent customer service skills (completed COA Customer C.A.R.E training)
•Professional
•Basic computer skills
•Knowledge of iParcs registration system
•Proficient organizational skills
•Good oral and written communication skills
•Ability to plan and organize requests and maintain appropriate documentation.
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
2-3 years of Summer experience in Parks and Recreation
