Worker Category: Fixed Location

Salary: £24,708 - £25,983 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) 

Working Hours: Usual hours are 08:30-16:30, these may be extended from time to time. 

Contract Type: Casual

About the Role

Beaumanor Activities offer exciting outdoor educational programmes on a day visit and residential basis. Activities include canoeing, climbing, high ropes, archery, orienteering, bushcraft, and team building.

As an Outdoor Activities Leader, you will lead on a range of these activities, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard to encourage repeat business. You will also be required to ensure that health and safety requirements are adhered to during activities and to maintain, improve and report on curriculum resources. Occasional evening and weekend working will be required.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  • Have a good standard of education.
  • Have relevant experience of instructing/teaching and working with young people.
  • Have an interest in learning outside of the classroom.
  • Be able to build effective relationships with others and have a desire to achieve excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Have excellent time management skills.
  • Be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
  • Be able to display a professional attitude and the ability to remain calm and rational under pressure.

 

You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equal opportunities, and the ability to apply this to all situations. 

In addition, we expect you to share our commitment to our values and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the interview process.
