Career Counselor needed to work in Columbia with travel to Cooper and Howard counties. The coach provides career coaching, family support services, and case management to help lift people out of poverty. Assist individuals who receive food stamps to gain skills, training, and work experience using a strengths-based whole family approach. Assist with developing goals by assessing career training pathways and preparing for employment (writing resumes, job applications, and mock interviews); address barriers and support the family. Promote the program through recruitment, meetings, and community events. Pay is $17 / hour.
