Job Description: The ALCC Program Assistant (Temporary) for the American Language and Culture Center assists the Program Coordinator and Director with administrative tasks to ensure the successful delivery of English language programs on SUU campus. This is a temporary position for the summer semester.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use the Banner system to enroll students in English language courses
- Respond to ALCC email and voice messages
- Receive and assist visitors to the ALCC
- Help ALCC faculty with course material preparation
- Assist ALCC faculty and staff with program events
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Professional-level proficiency in English
- Proficiency with MS Office and/or Google Suite
- Experience with SUU campus services
PREFERRED
- A Master's degree in public administration or education
- Experience working with young adults, particularly those from non-English speaking countries
