Position: POST Dailies Technical Supervisor
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
*Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 USD hourly
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Digital Dailies, this role requires a strong technical understanding of the Dailies process both in facility and on location. You will be expected to supervise multiple technicians working overnight and problem solve delivery issues communicating as a conduit between the operational side of the team and the producers and clients. The position requires a high degree of technical skill and time management. In addition, the role will also deal directly with clients in challenging situations; accordingly, a professional demeanor and diplomacy are also important.
Main Duties:
The Dailies Supervisor will seperate Dailies Processing Tools and related technical facilities as assigned by producer to ensure efficient and accurate completion of assigned tasks. They will bring excellent people management skills, including the ability to teach and train junior members of the team. They will create and maintain the Dailies Technicians schedule and shift patterns. They will work with DI Colorists, Image Scientists, and creatives to maintain and a shows look. They will make use of task management software such as ASANA and SLACK to communicate effectively. Other duties include:
The ideal candidate will bring a highly developed understanding of dailies deliverables, workflow and CO3 specific tool sets. They will bring a familiarity with imaging concepts, and other related trouble shooting methodologies. They will bring excellent work ethic and positive attitude. They will bring effective written and verbal communication skills. They will bring effective organizational skills, strong multi-tasking abilities and priority assessment skills.
