Job Descrption
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing and managing daily housekeeping operations.
• Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to established cleaning procedures and quality standards.
• Coordinate work schedules and assignments for housekeeping personnel.
• Follow-up inspection with the Cleaners of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
• Staff scheduling
• Collaborate with other departments (such as Comms, Agents, and Maintenance) to address guest requests and maintenance issues promptly.
• Uphold safety standards and protocols for housekeeping activities and ensure staff compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and assist in budget planning for the housekeeping department.
• Assist in performance evaluations... disciplinary actions, and recognition programs for housekeeping team members.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in housekeeping or related roles, with at least [2] years in a supervisory or managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping practices, cleaning techniques, and sanitation standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using housekeeping management software or related technology is preferred.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality or related field is a plus.
