Position: Medical Receptionist with DHA Licensing Experience
We arelooking to hire a Medical Receptionist (who has experience indealing with DAH licensing for staff) for one of our clients in Dubai (Al Manara Area). You will be the first point of contact forpatients and visitors at the medical facility. You are responsiblefor providing excellent customer service managing administrativetasks and facilitating smooth operations in the reception area. Toqualify for this position you MUST HAVE 13 YEARS OFEXPERIENCE working as a Medical Receptionist.
HR& Licensing
Responsibilities:
Shouldhave 2 years experience in DHA licensing for staff and forfacility.
Shouldhave knowledge of Sheryan Portal and Dataflow Group Portal Greetingand Check In:
Welcome patients and visitors with afriendly and professional demeanour. Check patients in forappointments verify demographic and insurance information andupdate patient records asneeded.
Appointment Scheduling:
Schedule patient appointments... consultationsand followup visits using electronic scheduling systems orappointment books. Coordinate with medical staff to ensureefficient scheduling and minimize waittimes.
Answerincoming calls screen and direct them appropriately.
Provide information to callers regarding clinic servicesappointment availability and general inquiries. Take messages andrelay them to the appropriate staff memberspromptly.
Patient Registration:
Register new patients by collectingpersonal and insurance information entering data into electronicmedical records (EMR) systemsand
Verifyinginsurance coverage:
Ensure all necessary forms andconsent documents are completedaccurately.
Insurance Verification:
Verify patient insurance coverage andeligibility using electronic verification systems or by contactinginsurance providers directly. Inform patients of any outofpocketexpenses copayments or deductibles they may be responsible for.
Administrative Support:
Assist with various administrative tasks such asfiling photocopying faxing and scanning documents. Maintainorganized and efficient filing systems for patient recordscorrespondence and other administrative materials.
Patient Coordination:
Coordinate patient flow in the receptionarea to ensure timely checkins minimize wait times and maintain acomfortable environment for patients. Communicate with medicalstaff regarding patient arrivals delays and specialaccommodation.
Billingand Payments:
Collect patient payments process copaymentsand reconcile daily cash transactions. Provide patients withreceipts explain billing statements and address billing inquiriesto the best of your ability. Forward complex billing issues to thebilling department asneeded.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or equivalent required; additional education orcertification in medical office administration is aplus.
Previousexperience as a medical receptionist or in a customer service rolepreferably in a healthcaresetting.
Proficiencyin using computer systems electronic medical records (EMR) andschedulingsoftware.
Excellentcommunication skills both verbal and written with the ability tointeract professionally with patients staff and externalcontacts.
Strongorganizational skills and attention to detail with the ability tomultitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fastpacedenvironment.
Knowledgeof medical terminology insurance terminology and basic medicaloffice procedurespreferred.
Compassionateand empathetic attitude towards patients with a commitment todelivering highquality customerservice.

Qualifications:
