In this hybrid role as FP&A Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in DAZN's expansion. Based in our London office, you'll support Group forecasting and planning while managing the financial performance of the Canadian region. Canada is a great market for DAZN, supported by premier sports rights like NFL, UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Bundesliga. The FP&A Manager element of the role is critical within DAZN Finance, focusing on providing financial planning and analysis support to the organization. The main responsibility is to ensure the company meets its financial targets through accurate forecasting, insightful analysis, and sound financial modelling.
But that's just the beginning. As the primary finance partner for our Canadian management team, you'll take on a pivotal role. Here, you'll be instrumental in steering the region's financial performance and guiding strategic decision-making across the entire P&L.

As our new FP&A Business Partner, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Own the weekly trading forecast process, providing insights on business performance to the executive team and CEO.
- Support finance leads on planning cycles, offering high-quality reporting and strategic analysis to Senior Leadership and the CFO. Additionally, provide support on DAZNs Commercial Premises reporting.
- Foster strong relationships for effectively communicating complex business issues and ensuring timely delivery of outputs.
- Take P&L ownership for the Canada region, ensuring alignment with long-term plan parameters.
- Prepare and present monthly financial reviews for regional and central stakeholders in Canada, highlighting risks, opportunities, and insights.
- Serve as the Finance owner and regional expert on commercial contracts, distribution deals, and rights agreements in Canada.
You'll have:
- Experience in group financial planning and analysis, with a focus on forecasting & budgeting. A track record of operating proactively in ambiguous and evolving situations with multiple stakeholders to deliver results against challenging deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and experience working within the Excel environment in a controlled and disciplined way
- Experience in producing financial reports and analysis for senior management and board members.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the finance function and wider business.
- ACA or CIMA qualified, with relevant post qualification experience. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience working in the sports or media industry would be desirable, as it demonstrates a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the field.
- Any best practice financial modelling experience would be a bonus
