About the role:

We are seeking a skilled FP&A Associate to join our team and contribute to financial planning and... analysis. The FP&A Associate will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial reports, assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities, and developing financial models. The company is looking for a candidate with technical ability, a strong analytical mindset, and excellent people skills.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
· Financial modelling: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to project company performance, including revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profitability.
· Financial Analysis and Reporting:
o Assist in developing and maintaining management MIS to provide senior leadership with detailed insights into the unit economics of each product. This involves supporting the preparation of MIS for multiple products to reflect the company’s growth and evolving product portfolio.
o Monitor and analyse key financial metrics and KPIs to assess business performance. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to understand and explain how the business generates profits, cash flow, and overall financial health of the company. Identify key financial trends by preparing interactive dashboards and visualisations.
o Support reconciling financial data across areas, including balance sheet accounts and income statements. Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records by identifying discrepancies, investigating variances, and collaborating with relevant departments to resolve issues.
o Utilize your Microsoft Excel and Tableau proficiency to analyse and interpret financial data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
o Support the presentation and preparation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to senior stakeholders.
o Evaluate the performance and strategies of the organisation, making data-driven recommendations for improvement and optimisation.
· Budgeting and Forecasting:
o Support the half-yearly budgeting process and periodic forecasting, collaborating with various departments to ensure comprehensive and accurate financial planning.
o Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
· 1-5 years of experience in similar roles in Fintech, Financial Services or Banking, with a strong understanding of the industry.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tableau for data analysis and reporting.
· Strong business analysis skills, including understanding how businesses profit and evaluate profitability ratios.
· Academic qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), MBA in finance or a related degree.
· Exceptional communication skills and maintaining positive relationships.
