Warehousing Manager
What This Position Is About – Purpose
The Warehousing Manager is leading JTI Manufacturing warehouses operations.
What Will You Do – Responsibilities
As a Warehousing Manager you will ensure:
• Safety and Security of employees and warehouse operations as a top priority
• Compliance to corporate safety, quality, security & sustainability requirements, and to local legal & regulatory requirements
• Efficient operation of JTI Manufacturing warehouses
•... Efficient management of physical and information flows
• Prioritizing, implementing and maintaining the operational excellence capabilities
• Defining, applying and deploying improvement projects / initiatives
• Achievement of specific KPI targets and leading the warehouse team to meet them
• Coordination of the logistics flow within JTI Manufacturing and optimization of material loading/unloading activities
• Support for the specific activities in Manufacturing Operations Management, SAP and Track & Trace systems
Who Are We Looking For – Requirements
Education: University Degree (preferably Engineering / Supply Chain / Logistics)
Work Experience: min. 5 years of running warehouse / logistics operations
Language: Romanian and English (very good writing & speaking skills)
Other Skills And Knowledge
• Specific knowledge of core warehouse management operations
• Freight & logistics operations, including oversight of 3PL/4PL outsourced models
• Customer centric logistics management
• Financial management and governance
• Project management and Agile ways of working
• Computer skills (MS Office); SAP / WMS knowledge is considered an advantage
• Ability to work on strategic and tactical levels with excellent problem-solving skills
• Decisiveness, initiative, attention to detail and high accuracy
• Analytical ability, as well as organizing and planning skills
• People management skills
