About This Team

The Graphic Design Manager sits within the Special Projects Design Organization. Our goal is to elevate... the lululemon product with a focus on the art and design of graphics to create a compelling consumer experience at retail. This team will drive graphic excellence through the connection of design, development and manufacturing.

a day in the lifeThe Manager, Design, Strategic Sales leads a team of Graphic Designers to create innovative graphics for lululemon strategic sales and partnership products. This team is responsible for our licensed collegiate apparel and accessories products. This team will drive excellence in graphics through the connection of design, development and merchandising.
• Lead and inspire a team of graphic designers, providing creative direction and mentorship to ensure high-quality designs that align with our brand vision
• Develop seasonal design concepts and collections that reflect current fashion trends and market demands
• Lead the team to create graphic artwork for apparel, maintaining a cohesive brand aesthetic across all products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, target audience insights and marketing objectives
• Manage the design process form concept development to final product, ensuring designs are completed on time and within budget
• Conduct regular design reviews and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement and innovation
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies in fashion and graphic design
• Oversee the creation of presentation materials including: acquiring slicks from teams or internal partners, graphic print direction, trim inspiration/samples, colored-up final graphics and VLPs of colorways with graphics

qualifications
• Design and Graphic Design or equivalent industry experience
• 8+ years in experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in clothing/fashion design
• Experience in managerial or leadership role, overseeing the team of designers
• Strong understanding of garment construction, textile techniques and print production processes
• Excellent knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles as applied to fashion design
• Experiencing in designing layouts with a great sense of typography
• Excellent skill in Adobe CC: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Interest in and knowledge of 3D and AI-generative software (eg. Midjourney)
• Ability to present creative ideas aligned with company's vision within each pod
• Create and track annual performance review with each direct report

Additional NotesImmigration support is potentially available for this role.Compensation and Benefits Package lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $118,400-155,400 USD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. workplace arrangement

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy: In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week
