Electrical & Instrumentation Technician (Shift) - Maintenance Specialist at Procter & Gamble

Job Descrption
Procter & Gamble (P&G) is a leading manufacturer of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, with a strong presence in the industry. We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Technician (Shift) to join our team at our London (West Thurrock) Site. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in electrical maintenance and a passion for working in a fast-paced production environment.
Main Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Work closely with the operations team to identify and resolve circuit problems, and assist with the installation, rebuilding, and commissioning of electrical equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe working environment and adhere to all safety procedures and protocols.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and PLCs to troubleshoot issues related to production machine coordinated drives.
What We Offer
• Competitive... Salary: The starting salary for this role is £46,260 per annum, with an additional shift premium of £164.45 per week.
• Generous Pension: The Company will contribute double the amount you contribute towards your pension savings, up to a maximum company contribution of 14% of your pensionable pay.
• Annual Leave: You will start with 25 days' annual leave entitlement (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service up to 30 days.
Requirements
• Qualifications: A minimum of ONC/C&G Part III or HNC/NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical Engineering time-served apprenticeship, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Proven electrical experience in a process or production environment, preferably in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods or similar industry.
• Skills: High level of accountability, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence others.
