Job Descrption
We are seeking a skilled Airlines Ticketing Consultant with at least four years of experience using GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo. The ideal candidate will also have experience in hotel bookings and holiday packages, coupled with excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers with airline ticket inquiries and bookings, providing information on routes, fares, and travel options.
Utilize GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) to efficiently create, modify, and cancel reservations.
Process ticket transactions, including issuing e-tickets, handling refunds, and managing itinerary changes.
Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Stay updated on airline policies, fare structures, and industry trends to provide accurate advice to customers.
Handle hotel bookings and holiday package inquiries with attention to detail.
Utilize PC software (Windows, Word, Excel, etc.) for... documentation and reporting.
Support and mentor junior staff in ticketing processes and customer service best practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in airline ticketing and reservations.
Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
Experience with hotel bookings and holiday packages.
Strong customer service and hospitality skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in PC software (Windows, Word, Excel, etc.).
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Additional language skills are a plus.
