Job description
The IT Technician needs to work within the gaming business.
GameOver Gaming cafe looking for an IT support with gaming Cafe experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, and other offices devices. (Experience in building gaming computers is a must)
- Investigating, diagnosing, and solving computer software and hardware faults.
- Interacting with clients and computer users to determine the nature of problems.
- Maintains cleanliness and order for IT equipment in guest areas and of the IT/Server room.
- Updating games, software, drives, etc. with the latest versions, updates, and patches.
- Supervising and maintaining network equipment (router, switch & server).
- Upgrading data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance... upgrades.
- Downloading the latest content and updating the media database.
- Testing and evaluating new technology.
- Periodically check and update IT inventory and report to IT Head and Manager.
- Organizing IT purchase requirements.
- Assist in managing network requirements and compliance.
- Take charge of IT equipment maintenance and AMC’s.
- Research on games, software, drivers for the latest versions and patches.
- Acquire customer feedback for content and games
- Responding in as timely manner to service issues and networks
• Providing technical support across the gaming café (this may be in person or over the phone)
• Setting up accounts for new users
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
• Cleaning gaming PC weekly/monthly
• Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solution to resolve system issues.
• Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved to the appropriate internal teams.
• Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution.
• Provide prompt and accurate feedback and maintain jovial relationships with clients.
Skills
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience in building gaming PC
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proven work experience as IT support in a gaming café
• BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledgeable in online games (must)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
