Financial Accountant at Hays Senior Finance

Job Descrption
Working with a New York parented insurance company. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Financial Accountant. The UK finance team is very integrated with the US finance team, with very integrated systems. As such, the UK finance team is more focussed on value add.
Your new role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
• Financial reporting (UK GAAP & French GAAP)
• Management accounting
• Financial analysis
• Preparation of management information and commentary for the CFO, Audit Committee and Board of Directors on a quarterly basis
• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual regulatory returns
• Process improvements
• System implementation
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will be a fully qualified finance professional (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). You will have experience in insurance accounting or insurance audit.
